200 Watt Laboratory Ultrasound Unit
This 200 Watt unit is ideal for laboratory use when no handheld operation is needed. The device is suited for sample volumes from 0.1 to 1000ml. Fields of use range from sonication of very small samples in medical or biological laboratories up to bigger samples in the chemical or environmental range. It is very effective in the homogenizing, dispersing, extracting and degassing or in the breaking-down of cells. In addition, the UP200S can be used to enable, enhance or speed up chemical reactions (sonochemistry).
It is also used for the production of smaller quantities, mostly in continuous flow with the use of flow cells and the appropriate sonotrodes.
The 40mm sonotrode transmits the ultrasound smoothly across a relatively large surface and it is therefore suited to support wet sieving processes using very fine mesh sizes. We supply all of our devices with supply voltage (100 to 110V) and corresponding plugs.
